Used Chantland Model 4210 air packer with controls

Used Chantland Model 4210 air packer with controls. Unit has 700 gallon (94.2 cu ft.) carbon steel product feed hopper that is 6' diameter with 2' straight side and 4' X 60 degree deep cone. Top center feed is 13.5" and center bottom discharge is 13.5". Mounted on (4) carbon steel legs that allow the unit to sit directly above the Chantland air packer. System is designed to fill valve bags with hard to handle powders at moderate production rates. Material flows from product feed hopper to the top butterfly of the Chantland air packer, operator places an empty bag on the fill tube and momentarily depress the pneumatic start button and the filling sequence begins. The 12" butterfly valve closes to allow the pressurization of the hopper pressure chamber while a diaphragm valve is open to allow the head-pressure air to enter and pressurize the hopper chamber. Since the fluidizing pad air flows continuously, regardless of the bagger operation, the product is continually aerated and prepared to flow into the bag upon the pressurization of the hopper pressure chamber. The material flow is initiated by the release of the pinch tube as the bag clamps firmly grip to hold the bag during the filling. Bag is weighed and upon reaching the desired preset weight the load cell actuates the solenoid valves and halts the material flow by causing the instantaneous crimping of the pinch tube and halt the flow of the head pressure. The 12" butterfly opens to allow the product feed to resume while the bag clamps release and the bag chair discharges the filled bag.. All product contact surfaces are carbon steel.
