Used "Marley" 586 (1) Cell Cooling Tower. Unit rated 8700 GPM @ 120.8 HWT to 97.8 CWT, 80 WBT. This original Marly design was removed and rebuilt by G.T.G. using the following. All structural components are 3.5" FRP square tube columns and diagonal braces with 316 stainless steel brace straps. Includes shear bushings in brace holes for superior load transfer. 3.5" FRP channel transverse girts and longitudinal girts. All bolting is 1/2" and 316 SS MOC. Fan deck is Pultruded FRP decking (gritted) and designed for 60psf load, full width fan deck included. 5.5" bolted FRP channel fan deck joists, 5.5" FRP I-beam mid-bay nailers (2 per bay), 5.5" FRP channel bridging (under fan stack), includes 304 SS attachment hardware. FRP hurricane blocks (minimum 8) with bearing plates and 304 SS hardware. FRP air seals between deck joists to prevent air bypass. Hot water basins: pultruded FRP decking, 5.5" FRP channel bolted transverse HWB joist supports, 3.5" FRP channel bolted longitudinal HWB joist, 5.5" FRP I-beam HWB mid-bays (2 per bay). 100% new long neck XF nozzles. FRP inboard, outboard, partition and end wall curbs. FRP distribution boxes per cell. FRP header saddles. Walls constructed of 12 oz, 4.2 corrugated FRP sheathing. Fill & Drift Eliminators: 4" PVC Gull-wing fill bars installed on 8 X 8 centers parallel to air flow, 14 Ga, 316L SS fill grids with 8 X 8 grid pattern, 2' PVC wire hanger brackets to attach fill grid to FRP fill supports, 2 X 2 FRP square tube fill supports, CE Shepherd SDRU-16 cellular drift eliminator panels, FRP self-draining drift eliminator trays, FRP top and transition shelves constructed of 1-1/8" decking material, included 3 X 3 FRP angles seals at each shelf. FRP DE retainer angles. All hardware 316 SS. Louvers: New supports all FRP construction, New Marley type plastic louver are, all hardware 1/2" diameter except louver pins which are 3/8" SS bolts. 12 oz 4.2 corrugated sheathing for louver blades. Mechanical equipment reused from previous tower, except the new all aluminum fan blade by Moore. Includes full FRP constructed stairwell with SS hardware. and 200 HP Warren Pump.
